So, I made a rare trip to the local IKEA, for some organization

bins. Upon which I stumbled across Silke Leffler's work (be sure to check

out her website, it's very cute). Above,

photos are from a placemat that I bought for only $1.99! Isn't it wonderful to

see great original and clever work for such a great price? In addition to

the placemat, there are also some very cool sticker sheets for your walls...

if my walls weren't already covered in artwork, I would love to have these!

But, the best part of the day, had to be when my daughter was eating

her daily dose of mandarin oranges on the new placemat and asked if I had drawn it?

working on a redesign of the website... above is a sneak

peek of the 'flavor' of it and in between that sneaking days

in at the beach!

such fun we have in a grassy green field on a bright day,

skies are a' blue and the sunshine a' singing

big puffy heart clouds float by

painting the love between you and me.

(i'm the tall & skinny one ;) wearing the beautiful red dress!)

done on a ceramic tile and was the perfect mothers day gift, done

in school w. her wonderful teacher. what a lovely surprise!

Love the line work in these wonderful illustrations

that are lining the walls of boden (you know this has to

be a fun place to work!). boden not only has super cute

designs, but also good quality clothes for both the big kids at heart and our small friends at mini boden ;) . fan them on facebook

ice cream you scream we all scream...

for these gorgeous days we've had lately in boston!

thinking, shiny oil cloth fabric print to

make little wallets for girls and drop cloths for finger

paint splashing and ice cream sundae parading...

(the colors are slightly off above, the stripes are a pink, not purple...)
