happy spring & easter

signs of spring and easter are popping despite the chilly days we are still having...

took the two bottom pictures at my good friend's house, who is Finnish, and i learned

that to celebrate spring and easter's arrival, they grow real grass in a pot (loving this, no

plastic, stringy stuff :) and decorate willow branches & then the children will go house to

house and give a branch in exchange for a sweet. the daisies are a dash of femininity to my kitchen :)
