Discovery Shuttle & International Space Station Fly Over Boston

           Lucky for me, I was able to run outside with my kids & mother who was visiting around 7:45 on Tues. evening and see the International Space Station & the discovery shuttle fly by!  Interestingly, the 'hook' up between the shuttle & crew with the space station was above Australia around 4:19pm, about 22o miles above the earth.  It was then to fly over Eastern Mass/Boston around 7:41pm.  Sure is fast!

There were a lot of bright 'pretty' things in the sky that night, but this was a very bright light moving 'wicked' fast across the sky.  Pretty amazing to think about.  For more interesting photos. and info. check out www.nasa.gov .  I also read that the crew woke up to Johnny Cash's "I walk the line" song.  Here is a video of that:
