Melissa Sweet, Illustrator Extrodanire.
I have loved Melissa's work since I first saw it about five years ago. She has
a beautiful painterly style and uses colors so well... Melissa lives in Maine, but
surpringsly it's about 4 or so hours from Boston. So, I've never made it to her studio for a visit
b/c that would be an overnight trip. Thankfully, I discovered that she is coming to the Boston area next
week for a dinner and signing. With my birthday around the corner, it feels like it came a little
